
Unless your athlete has communicated with me about keeping their equipment for pictures ALL of their football equipment needs to be cleaned and turned in this week. They may turn in their equipment in the gym and I will check to make sure all items are accounted for. Thank you.

JH Wrestling will not be going to Labette County for the tournament tomorrow. It was canceled due to not having enough teams.

Central 2nd & 3rd grades are teaming up with Texas Roadhouse. They will be selling Frozen Texas Roadhouse Rolls ($8 a dozen), Cinnamon Butter ($2) and Gift Cards ($25, $50, or $100). 10% of each gift card sale and 50% of each bread/butter sale will be donated back to our school. Funds will be used for field trips, classroom projects and end of the year activities. If you are interested in ordering please contact a Central 2nd or 3rd grader of call the Central Elementary Office at 629-429-3943. All orders must be turned in by November 25. Kickoff for tonight's football game is at 7:00. Come out and support our players as they take on Parsons at home. Admission prices are still the same. We hope to see you there! Go Titans!

Our 3rd-5th grade Central Leadership Group had a field trip today to Greenbush where we learned more about responsibility and being good leaders in our community. Students are nominated by their teachers to be a part of this group. They did a great job and had a good time!










This week at Central, we have been celebrating Red Ribbon Week! This year's theme is "Life is a movie, film drug free!" Yesterday, we had an all school assembly led by Officer Anne who talked to the students about the importance of being drug free and being kind to ourselves and others!

The HS football team will have a walkthrough practice at 11:00am Friday October 25th at the stadium. Attendance is mandatory.

HS football players will have a walkthrough after school Monday October 21st on the game field. The JV game is at home and will start at 6pm. Mondays game will be our final JV contest of the season.

CJSHS: Veterans Day Breakfast & Assembly Information
CJSHS is honoring our veterans. There will be a breakfast held at 8:15 a.m. in the Columbus
Junior Senior High School cafeteria on Monday, November 11, 2024, for all veterans, current servicemen, and a guest. Along with the breakfast, veterans may attend an assembly put on by CJSHS Student Council and student body. The assembly begins at 8:45 am.
Names and pictures of veterans and those currently serving will be included in the breakfast and/or assembly. If you wish to have a friend or family member who is a veteran or currently serving in the military included and you have NOT previously submitted his/her information, please submit: name, rank, branch of service, and picture (optional) by Wednesday, November 6th. The JV football game will begin after the Junior high game Monday. We found out earlier today that Neodesha would not have enough players to play Monday so we will be playing Colgan JV (again). Again, we will start the JV game after the Junior high is done playing and we will be playing Colgan and not Neodesha as was on the schedule. Please help your athletes find,clean and pack all their equipment and uniforms needed for Mondays game.
