This past year, Park received money from the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas through a grant written by Rylee Crain to create a sensory room. This room has been used over 500 times throughout the school year by students at Park who need a place to calm down, a place to relax, a place to regulate, or who have earned a reward. The students and the teachers love this resource. The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas hosts individual charitable funds created by donors who have a passion for giving back to their community. Regional Track is moving from Friday to Thursday, 22nd because of the chance of weather on Friday. Field events at 2:00, prelims at 3:00 and Finals 45 minutes after prelims are finished.
Due to the latest weather update, we are releasing students and running bus routes at 2:30 today. Again, shelters open at Park and Central during a tornado warning.

HS track athletes need to turn in their track uniforms/warm-ups Monday and Tuesday this week.
Today at Central we had our Character Reward prize drawing! Throughout the year, students are given a golden ticket when they are caught making good decisions and demonstrating good character. Those tickets are put into a bucket and drawn for prizes at the end of each semester.
We are so grateful for the gracious donation that allowed us to do this prize drawing for the past several years. If any business or individual in the community is interested in donating, we would love to keep this program going.

The Senior Assembly will start at 8:10 in the gym on Friday morning and Graduation will begin in the gym at 5:00 on Saturday. Seniors need to meet in the cafeteria by 4:30 before Graduation.
