Highland's second semester leadership group got to do their zoom meeting with Greenbush's Student Ambassador program. They learned about being a leader and making a difference. It's a great morning!!
Highland's Leadership Group is bringing a Kindness Game to Highland this week! The leadership students wrote encouraging and kind phrases on 200 clothespins. They are trying to surprise classmates by clipping one of the pins on their backpack or coat without getting caught. That student can then keep the clip or pass it on to someone else. Even the adults are getting in the fun!
The CUHS Basketball teams have had a successful first round of sub-state. The boys beat Baxter 50 to 31 and the girls upset Riverton 48 to 42. The boys will play Thursday in Fredonia at 7:30 against Cherryvale. The girls will play Friday in Fredonia at 7:30 against Neodesha. Go Titans!!!
The boys basketball team will play at home tonight in the first round game of sub state. 7 PM start time. Per KSHSSA, only KSHSAA issued passes can be accepted. Adult price is $7.00 and student price is $5.00. The girls will open Tuesday night at 7 PM in Riverton. Go Titans!
The CUHS basketball games vs Southeast have been canceled.

We are cancelling the district K-8 after school programming for today, Wednesday Feb 23, to allow for students to ride buses home and our students/staff to be home before dark.

The CUHS Basketball games are postponed until tomorrow, Friday the 17th, with the same scheduled times.
Reminder: There is no school on Monday, February 14 due to teacher inservice.
Also, K-8 students should have brought home progress reports today from school.
Bethany and Mallory represented CUHS at the regional piano festival today at Baker University. They both received ones and qualified for state. Great job!
CUHS will not have the basketball games against Colgan on Friday (2/4). Games are rescheduled for Thursday, February 10th. The homecoming assembly and coronation will be Thursday the 10th. We are looking to have the homecoming dance on Friday evening. More details to come.
CUHS Wrestling change - We are not going to Nevada tonight as scheduled. Boys only will wrestle at LCHS at 5 PM tonight.
We had several of our Park January Students of the Month absent last Friday, so we wanted to recognize the rest of our January Students of the Month for Park today!
