Kindergarteners just finished their reading unit on Native Americans and they made class totem poles. Each student got to choose and color their animal. Our district's reading curriculum has knowledge units that cover different science and social studies topics so that our students get to learn about a wide variety of topics while they learn to read. The kindergarteners did a great job on their totem poles!
