NHS
What is NHS?
NHS is a program that helps to recognize sophomores through seniors who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
There are four main elements to NHS. They are:
- to create enthusiasm for scholarship
- to stimulate a desire to render service
- to promote leadership
- to develop character in the students of secondary schools.
Application Process
All Students on NHS must have a 3.5 or higher GPA and fill out an application. After the application process, a committee will meet to review the applicants and select the new members of the National Honor Society.
