If your child is absent, please call them in to the school. If we do not receive a call or note your child will be unexcused. If your child is late, please come sign them in at the office.
The Preschool screening will be on March 13 & 14. Please call the school in February, starting on the 20th for an appointment time.
The Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for April 24th,25, 26th.Please call the school in April to set up a appointment.
With winter here, just a reminder to listen to your local TV stations KSN, KOAM, and KODE and radios KSEK, KKOW, KSYN, KGLC, KIXQ, KOBC, and KKLL for school closings. School closings will be announced at approximately 6:00 a.m. If a snowstorm develops during the day any changes in the school schedule will be announced over the radio and TV stations listed above at least one hour in advance of the change.
Please make sure your school and child know what to do in case no one will be home when school is dismissed early. If we do not hear something different we will send your child home the usual way. This means if they are a bus rider we will send them home on the bus unless you call and tell us different. Please make sure the school has your current phone numbers for the School Reach phone system.

Parents just a reminder that tardies can become a reason for the school to turn your child over to the county attorney's office for truancy. Four tardies are equal to one unexcused absence. This also creates confusion in the classroom when at student comes in late. The teacher must stop what they are doing and re-teach the materials that the late student has missed. Please be responsible and see that your child gets to school on time. A student is tardy if they come after 8:10.
