Co-Curricular Activities: Sponsor jr. high MATHCOUNTS and jr. high Scholars' Bowl teams; sponsor interested History Day competitors
Hobbies: Traveling - Anywhere! I love short trips, long trips, domestic trips, and trips abroad. I especially love being off the beaten path!
Reading - my tastes are varied but some of my favorite authors are Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum, David Sedaris, Dave Barry, Louisa May Alcott, John Steinbeck, and Laura Ingalls Wilder
Watching movies and documentaries - love the Discovery and History channels!
Gardening - mainly veggies, especially hot peppers; I prefer drought tolerant flowers and other plants as I usually forget to water often enough!
Music - I'm a music appreciator - everything from blues and jazz to classical and all kinds of rock - but I also play trombone in the summer community band and jazz band and sing in church and community productions on occasion.
