Tuesday 9/8: Students will partner up and read a selected article on-line. Each group will write a 1/2 to a full-page summary of the article. Students are expected to write a summary of the main details of the article, and leave out much of the examples and supporting details.
Wednesday 9/9: Students will finish the summary and turn it in, along with their notes that they have written.
Thursday 9/10: Students will work to complete p. 370 ex. 11 and 12: Simple vs. Compound sentences.
Friday 9/11: Students will review Unit 8 by practicing review skills from Ex. 9 p. 376, Proofreading p. 377, and mixed review p. 378.
