February 1 - Digital Learning Day

This is how Mrs. Foster's 3rd grade class celebrated Kansas Digital Learning Day.   "All learning activities today were done using technology.  We recorded the class acting out their weekly story.  They did their class story test on the iPad through Edmodo on the Internet.  We played a game with the Smartboard for Grammar.  We used an iPad app to practice our current math concept.  We used another app during science with partners." Walking Club Formed

The Central Walking Club is a new program that begins on Monday, January 30 for grades 4-8.  All students are eligible to participate.  The fitness program will be Monday-Thursday from 7:30-7:55 a.m.  Students will walk in the Central Old Gym and Central Track areas.  Volunteers will help students with counting laps and record keeping.  Students participating will be eligible for prizes.  Students can walk from 7:30-7:55 a.m.  The program ends on Thursday, May 3. read more
