Please No Mouse Traps!
Mickey Mouse and several of his Walt Disney friends helped welcome 20 students to my classroom.
On the first day of school, the classroom was decorated with a variety of Mickey Mouse characters showing classroom rules, the lunch menu, class schedules, and spelling words. Students had the opportunity to read stories about Mickey and put puzzles together featuring him. Mickey has been helping students with their math facts and handwriting. Students have also had fun including Mickey Mouse in their art projects. They have made 3-D art pictures, Donald Duck puppets, puzzles featuring Goofy, and will make a Mickey Mouse mask. Thank you Mickey Mouse and your Walt Disney friends for helping me welcome our new students to Second Grade.
